Jennifer A. Whalen is a dedicated public servant currently serving her second term in the Albany County Legislature, advocating for the residents of Colonie. She has been an attorney for 34 years with extensive experience in the private and public sector. A former NYS Assistant Attorney General and with a strong commitment to justice and community engagement, she seeks to become Colonie Town Justice to ensure fair and impartial treatment for all residents, emphasizing transparency and accessibility in the court system. Jennifer's experience as a Colonie Town Councilwoman, combined with her legal expertise as a solo practitioner and owner of the Whalen Group, uniquely positions her to implement initiatives that promote community outreach, address public safety concerns, and support alternative sentencing programs, creating a judicial environment that fosters healing, accountability, and a safer community for all.
